CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATION:
Open fluid slides are used to ease transportation of dry non-adhesive powdered materials (e.g. raw material flour, cement, fly-ash) and they are determined for installing into raw material bins in production of building materials. The allowable temperature of transported material is at normal construction up to 100°C, at special construction up to 130°C.
DIMENSIONS AND PARAMETERS:
Type range of open fluid slides is consistent with transportation air slides (serie 59), alternatively it is possible to design a special construction according to wish of customer and bin bottom shape.
DESCRIPTION OF CONSTRUCTION:
Open fluid slide has in cross section profile of a four square tube equipped on upper side with a microcellular fabric. Open fluid slides are installed on slope surfaces of bin bottom or in another device (e.g. mobile loader serie 61). The aerating air comes in air channel and it runs above through microcellular fabric, it aerates the material, which moves (slides) in direction of fluid slide inclination. A blower is usually used as air supply. The fluid slides are delivered in parts(sections) and are made from a normal steel St-37 (class 11 acc. CZ-Standard ČSN). Integral part of fluid slide is inlet opening for air supply, connecting and sealing material.
