CHARACTERISTICS AND APPLICATION:
Screw mixer is intended for a fluent dosing and mixing of powedered and grained materials with graine size 0-3 mm in usual granulometric structure of milled products. At dry mixing the moisture content of powdered materials must be lower than 1% water and the material must not be adhesive. If the material contains clay, so the allowable moisture content is max. 3% water. The max. allowable temperature of conveied material is between -30 and +150 ° Celsia. The transport is horizontal, only in any case - if it is necessary - the possible and allowable inclination angle is max. 5 degree and the application must be before consulted with producer. Screw mixer is designed also in construction for wet mixing and floating, a part of such delivery is a water distribution, too.
DIMENSIONS AND PARAMETERS:
Type range of srew mixers contains 6 basic sizes derived from helix diameter < 400 up to 900 mm >, in the whole scale of screw shaft rotation speed and corresponding capacity. Transport length can be chosen between 1.000 – 6000 mm.
The mixers are delivered completely equipped, with drive, rotation indicator holder, incl. connecting material. After technical – commercial consulting with producer it is possible to order some modifications or a special type of construction.
DESCRIPTION OF CONSTRUCTION:
Screw mixer consists of trough, which is shut on both ends (sites) with shields. Parts of these shields are antifriction bearings with special packings of screw shaft, too. The trough has a removable coverings with inspection openings. The screw shaft is supported on bearings outside of trough. At longer conveyers are used an adjustable hanging bearings. Inlet and outlet flanges are delivered extra to be welded on the building site or are welded already at the assembly in workshop. The drive of screw mixer is made in a few ways: a standard construction with geared motor, which is via elastic clutch connected with screw shaft, further alternatives are chain gear or slip-on gear box.
Construction – screw mixer is made from a normal steel (class 11 acc. CZ-Standard ČSN) as a welded construction. Screw windings are pressed singly and are made from a normal/carbon steel (class 11 acc. CZ-Standard ČSN). On special requirement the windings can be made from material HARDOX or with hard surfacing (welded-on). The trough can be delivered in construction with basalt lining.
A special type of construction and special requirements must be consulted with supplier !!!
